Foundation Portfolio Script - Brandon

 Script For “ticking”  

(Establishing Shot of the School classroom block) 

Container classroom is shown as a student walks into frame and through the door-Static shot 

(Later at night with crickets and white colored light 
Have low tone, creepy music and sounds playing as the flashbacks happen, with a change to ‘happier music’ as she is just working until it shows the other character, when it shows the other character change back to some creepy music.) 

(all the flashback shots are pov, from the pov of the ‘bad’student.) 

Follow the student into the container. 

Emphasize the props (folder, bottle, textbooks, headphones) that link to the backstory with close up shot of them being put down and interacted with. 

  
Flashback to when those items were important, showing the creepiness of the other character. Put on headphones 
((Headphones—student is walking with her headphones on around school, show that the student is being watched by the other character. ))


(phone rings)

take off the headphones

pick up the phone

"Hey What's up?"

'Hey, yeah do you want to hang out tonight??'

"uh sorry no i cant have to do work tonight sorry."

'oh, no worries, see you later'

"bye"

}

put headphones back on

 
((Cut back to the container between the flashbacks and show the clock ticking.  
Close up of the students face focused.  

Shot of the Folder. 

Folder—Show the student leaving it behind after a class and the other character taking it and putting something into the folder.  

Cut back to the container and the clock 

The student is still focused but glances away at the end of the shot. 

Shot of the textbook  

Textbook—both the students reach for the textbook grabbing her hand in an aggressive way. )) 

Cut back to the container and the clock. 

The students gets visibly uncomfortable.  
 
show outside shots of the container looking in on the student working late at night. 

On the inside of the container, have shots of the student working and play knocking sounds from the outside of the container.  
 

End with the shot of the bottle or cup of water rippling, with a short cut to the opening of the door.
